Sterilizations

One of our biggest and ongoing programs here in Todos Santos is low cost sterilizations. Currently we offer this once a week in a central location volunteered by a big hearted member of the community. This allows, we believe, a much needed regular service for the community each week, vs. a sterilization clinic that only is accessible a few times each year. Families now do not have to wait to have their animals sterilized which prevents litters upon litters of babies being born in the mean time.

Free sterilizations are also provided on case by case support to lower income families where many animals are present and resources are not available. These are extreme cases and many times 100% of the costs need to be covered.

Why this is important: A giant issue to any community is to address the number one cause of overpopulation, without this results in an explosion of unwanted homeless animals, illness, abuse, hunger, & often death.

This much needed program allows lower income families the ability to provide responsible pet care & the pride in which that results.
